You will need five GCSEs A* to C including English and Maths to study this course. Other equivalent qualifications may be considered and there are exemptions for further applicants with relevant workplace experience.
This course is designed to help you learn how to process bookkeeping transactions, learn how to balance control accounts, journals and banking systems on a computerised system, the college currently uses Sage Accounts Package for this.

You can progress on to the AAT Diploma in Accounting Level 2 course at the college. You may start a job in the field of Accounting or start as a trainee accountant.
